Ægir, American blue self dumbo rat, born january 2010

This is my newest rattie boy ! A very cuddly little boy who adores sleeping on my knees or in my sweater (he seems to have a sweater-sleep fetish

)
He's a doll !
He comes from an unwanted litter, I couldn't resist his cuteness and adopted him. My boyfriend named him Ægir after a Giant from the Norse mythology.

I'm very sorry for the poor quality of the photo, I had no more lamps and had to set ISO values to 400, which is not a good thing at all using a Canon EOS350D (photos tend to be grainy even when ISO values are set to 100... needless to say setting ISO to higher values is a bit of a "photographical suicide" )

Oh my, this is an incredible photo! It has a fantasy, other-worldly feel with the soft, glowing background and AEgir's pose. You should be very proud of this shot. If it were mine I wouldn't be able to resist framing it and hanging it on my wall.

Witha cute face like that any picture is good. I love his coloring and how he fits into his surroundings. Ægir is a cute little rat. I am happy he was saved so people can enjoy him and see why we should save all animals, even the ones with the most bad rap.
