No ladybug was injured during the photosession, I promise. I found this little thingie roaming on the background paper and I thought it would be cool to put it on the plum for some seconds as Arkanys was VERY busy chewing the plum stem. I freed it right after this shot (I took 3, this is the one that came out the best, the other ones weren't sharp enough or Arkanys expression was just way too stupid ) I wish I could have taken some more shots with a better background but I didn't want to bother the ladybug too much or Arkanys to hurt it (he absolutely didn't seem to care but better be cautious than having a chewed ladybug)
Arkanys, black irish dumbo rex rat, born April the 16th 2010.
He is the sweetest rattie ever, he's very cuddly, licky and playful. He's also quite the little clown and always make funny faces. He's a pretty smart rat who learn tricks very quickly and is also quite the friendly and glue-like rat who would do anything to be allowed to go to work with my boyfriend or follow me anywhere
Arkanys comes from an unwanted litter from a rescue doe, Harley, who had been abandonned by her previous owner. The foster family who rescued her didn't seem to know males and female rats shouldn't play on the same area together and the girl who adopted Harley soon discovered that she was pregnant... I saw a video showing Harley's pups and my boyfriend and I just melt when we saw Arkanys cute little nose and white socks... So we adopted him and I must say this rattie is the cutest thingie ever and I can't believe such a small rat has so much love to give

Oh I love him!!! It's so weird, I just had to put my rat down a few days ago, and now when I hit random deviation I got this. It cheers me up a lot to see it. I still miss my baby though...
Thanks
Maybe soon I can have some hairless rats... hehehe, just have to convince the wife that they are just as cute.
