Painted in Photoshop CS3 with a Wacom Intuos 3A4 tablet
No reference used

This is a WIP shot of a painting I'm currently working on, it's part of a serie of 3 paintings which will be finished at the end of the year, hopefully.

I've added some photo textures for a more realistic look at screen resolution (skin pores, lips texture and some strands of hair), added a piercing on her chin and changed the color of her eyes. I've also darkened it a bit and contrasted it.

Though the painting itself is quite realistic too, its huge size makes it look a bit too plastic and perfect at screen resolution (this image is 60cm x 200cm, 300dpi), hence the fact that I've added photo textures. Printed artworks tend to look more detailed and textured than artworks viewed on monitors, this one will be printed full-size.
