Feirefiz 1 - Fancy rat

My newest rattie... still living with his mother as he's a 3 weeks old baby, but I've had the opportunity to take some shots of him
I'll take him home when he is 5 weeks old as my friend doesn't have any adult buck to teach him the social codes he'll need during his 5th week to his 6th week (psychological weaning).

A very good friend of mine has taken care of a litter of 12 ratties which were meant to be used to feed snakes... she is searching for good homes for them and I went to take some shots of the babies to try to make some of my friends' hearts melt. 
These babies are just too cute, very very sweet and cuddly, very friendly too, even with people they don't know
Feirefiz is the laziest one of them, he'd rather sleep than eat or play... He LOVES cuddles !

The photo is quite grainy as the room was only lit by a very small lamp which wasn't powerful at all... I used very high ISO values to get enough light, hence the noise. I'm amazed at how "clean" these shots are compared to the ones I took with my old camera though
