A very good friend of mine has taken care of a litter of 12 ratties which were meant to be used to feed snakes... she is searching for good homes for them and I went to take some shots of the babies to try to make some of my friends' hearts melt. These babies are just too cute, very very sweet and cuddly, very friendly too, even with people they don't know I'll adopt one of them and will post some pics of him as soon as I can take him home (mine is not this little one, this baby has already been adopted by someone else, many of his brothers and sisters are still up for adoption though).
"Little agouti cutie" - male agouti hooded standard rattie, born October the 23rd, 2010.
The photo is quite grainy as the room was only lit by a very small lamp which wasn't powerful at all... I used 1600 ISO to 2000 ISO values to get enough light, hence the noise. I'm amazed at how "clean" these 1600 ISO shots are compared to the ones I took with my old camera

He reminds me of the the rat I used to have, Samuel. People's misunderstanding of rats saddens me... A very adorable and clean looking rat, and great photography
I LOVE IT
