That's one of the very few shots I'm really proud of. There is very few editing here, only some slight level corrections to enhance a bit the blue tones (nothing very noticeable actually). I also removed some grain on the background and cropped it square by removing some space at the top and bottom (not on the sides).
I love this shot so much I think I'll have to print it for myself...

Lorich, siamese seal point hooded mismarked velveteen rat, born june the 1st, 2010 (his eyes are really that dark).

Lorich is my newest boy. He comes from an unwanted litter. His mother was pregnant in a pet store and was about to give birth to her babies, she would soon have become snake food. Fortunately, a girl who was there to buy some bedding found her and took her home :)

Lorich is a sweetheart. He is VERY licky, very cuddly and very playful, the perfect little rat :heart: He reminds me very much of Arkanys (they have a very similar behavior) except he is a bit braver (he doesn't fear any noise ^^). He loves licking our hands, eating, having his cheeks and belly rubbed, playing, sleeping on my shoulder and tangling my hair :heart:

This is an all around enchanting feast for the eyes. The diversity of colors against the solid background, the placement of the objects, and the pose couldn't be more perfect. This is eye-catching, appealing, pleasing, and simply delightful. You have accomplished an outstanding feat of surrounding a stunningly beautiful Siamese fancy rat with colorful splendor. Your vision, originality, and intentions with this pose have certainly succeeded in conveying to the world that fancy rats are creatures to be adored, admired, and loved. I have no doubt you are really proud of this, you should be. Well done. I love it.

Our heroic rat finds an elegant feast right by the great treasure trove he had unearthed.

But he eats warily, for a magical genie or a sword-wielding enemy may suddenly appear out of nowhere. :O

This is wonderful!!! I didn't know rats could be so graceful, and photogenic! I can hear music when I see this photo, and it's this rat singing "I'm too sexy for my fur" XD
