My little boys being very tired. Or comfy ^^


Arkanys, black irish dumbo rex rat, born April the 16th 2010.

He is the sweetest baby rat, very cuddly, licky and playful little boy :heart:
I have always wanted to adopt black or agouti rats but I had never had the opportunity to adopt one as I do not chose my rescue ratties colors/coat/ear shape at all, I just take them home the way they are. Since Ægir was always asking for rattie friends to play with, I thought it would be great to adopt young rats for once (my old ones are not playful enough).

Arkanys comes from an unwanted litter from a rescue doe, Harley, who had been abandonned by her previous owner. The foster family who rescued her didn't seem to know males and female rats shouldn't play on the same area together and the girl who adopted Harley soon discovered that she was pregnant...
I saw a video showing Harley's pups and my boyfriend and I just melt when we saw Arkanys cute little nose and white socks... So we adopted him and I must say this rattie is the cutest thingie ever and I can't believe such a small rat has so much love to give :heart:


Lorich, siamese seal point hooded mismarked velveteen rat, born june the 1st, 2010 (his eyes are really that dark).

Lorich is my newest boy. He comes from an unwanted litter. His mother was pregnant in a pet store and was about to give birth to her babies, she would soon have become snake food. Fortunately, a girl who was there to buy some bedding found her and took her home :)

Lorich is a sweetheart. He is VERY licky, very cuddly and very playful, the perfect little rat :heart: He already loves me and my boyfriend, he reminds me very much of Arkanys (they have a very similar behavior) except he is a bit braver (he doesn't fear any noise ^^). He loves licking our hands, eating, having his cheeks and belly rubbed, playing, sleeping on my shoulder and tangling my hair :heart:

Aww, sleepy rats.
I'd love to make pictures of my mice like this, but the one that's super tame just loves sitting on my hand so much, that she keeps running to me everytime I put her down somewhere, hehe.

AAAAH I really love these rat pictures of yours!!! theyīre so cute!!! say, could I possibly use one as a profile picture on my facebook?? you see, I kinda donīt want to use my photos there since they look stupid so I use some nice pictures instead...

I don't allow the use of my photographs as facebook profiles/avatars/backgrounds anymore as these got stolen many times because people used to see them on many people profiles and thought they were somehow free/stock images and even sometimes sold them... So no more use allowed :/

Sorry about that, I hope you understand.
