Sorry I've not been active lately, I'm very busy at the moment, I've not been able to reply to all your notes yet (I know many of you asked about rats, I'll try to reply asap, I promise !)

Anyway, here's the "Valentine's day dose of cuteness". And nope, the tails are not photoshopped (except for a very small spot I removed on Lorich's tail since he had some pomegranate juice on it >_<), I spent a loooong time petting them enough so they'd get very comfy and sleepy so I could both arrange their tails into a heart shape AND have the time to take some shots. I don't think I could redo this shot, they couldn't stop moving ^^;

Both the ratties here are males, I'm not a breeder, I've only got bucks so... these two are just friends :P


Lorich, siamese seal point hooded mismarked velveteen rat, born june the 1st, 2010 (his eyes are really that dark).

Arkanys, black irish dumbo rex rat, born April the 16th 2010.

Both are the sweetest ratties ever, always asking for cuddles, licking my hands, they are also very playful and loooove to sleep on my knees :heart:

Yes, most of the rats shown in my gallery are mine but some of them were rescue ratties I fostered last year until I could find them good homes.
I've currently got 10 bucks living together, they all are very happy and healthy and nope, they don't fight (except for play-fights).

they're very handsome boys :3 i heard male rats are more calm than females, true? i have nine females, hyper as can be. and a friend of mine has two boys living at my house for the time being (in a seperate room. heard rats can mate through bars!) and they're young and hyper, will they calm down with age?
also since valentine's is coming up soon, would you mind if i drew this for the occasion? it'll be for my hubby (who also adores rats :3 )

I am so jealous of your rats and your photoshopping skills. Arkanys has gotten so big! Tomorrow I am getting two dumbo boys, nine weeks. I can't wait. I'm starting to make rat safe toys for them tonight. If you have any advice for me I would very much appreciate it ^.^
